Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies/KUFA participates in an International specialized course on Smart Health Systems in Kingdom of Malaysia

The Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies / Kufa, one of the formations of the University of Al-Furat, participated in the specialized course tagged (Smart health systems), in collaboration with the University of Sciences Malaysia (USM) in the Kingdom of Malaysia, for the period from 2025/12/5 to 13/12/2025.

The participation of the faculty came as part of a program organized by the Center for Continuing Education and the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations at Al-Furat Central Technical University. The delegation of the university was chaired by the Scientific Assistant Professor Dr Ahmed Ghanem Wday, represented by the Malaysian side Scientific Assistant to the Malaysian University Professor Dato D. Prof. Narima Benti Smt (Prof. Dato’Gs. Dr. Narimah Binti Samat).

The session saw a distinctive presence of a number of academic personalities, among them the Cultural Associate in Malaysia Professor Dr. Abdul Jalil Mohamed Majeed, and a number of deans of the university’s collections.

The faculty represented both Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Fadel Al-Shawi, Deputy Dean of Scientific Affairs and Students in it, Professor Dr. Amir Aboud Karim, Head of the Department of Dental Industry Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Hashim Abdel, the Chairperson of the Department, and Professor Dr. Haider Khadir Khattar.

The course included specialized scientific lectures delivered by professors from the Malaysian Science University and Al-Furat Intechnical University, and the lectures included in-depth scientific discussions and thought provoking ideas and insights that contribute to the development of scientific reality and sharing of experiences and knowledge.

At the end of the course, certificates of participation were distributed to the trainees, who expressed their gratitude for the high level of organization and scientific content, for what it has positively impacted supporting scientific and cultural development.
