Sanad volunteer medical team at the Faculty of Health and medical technologies / Kufa
Within the series of volunteer programs and activities aimed at serving the community, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Ramahi, dean of the College, the College of Health and medical technologies/Kufa, one of the formations of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, hosted the Sanad volunteer medical team, to hold a practical workshop entitled First Aid and dealing with emergency cases. The workshop, which was held in the Department of anesthesia techniques at the College, included practical and theoretical aspects, including practical skills in blood drawing, cannula installation, measuring pressure and sugar, examining blood groups important for blood transfusions and identifying essential medicines.the workshop also touched on important theoretical aspects, including how to deal with fainting and bleeding, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), dealing with fractures and other injuries. The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are continuous training, updating first aid skills regularly, and participating in workshops and training courses to ensure readiness to deal with any emergency.And to provide an integrated first-aid kit at home, work, car, regularly reviewing its contents.Keep calm during an emergency to ensure that the right decisions are made.
