Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University concludes a course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Within the series of training courses aimed at serving the university community, especially the student segment, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Ramahi, dean of the College, the Department of cosmetic and laser technologies, at the College of Health and medical technologies/Kufa, one of the formations of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, concluded the training course tagged first aid and dealing with cardiopulmonary resuscitation pursuant to an initiative in each paramedic House . The course aimed to teach and train students on first aid and what is modern in first aid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) modern Techniques The course included practical and theoretical aspects, as it included the general definition of First Aid and the skills of using it, and other important aspects were also touched upon, including how to deal with fainting cases, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and dealing with other injuries. The practical side focused on training students in practice how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, if the heart is breathing and there is no pulse, and how to deal with methods according to modern devices in resuscitation. The course concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is to update first aid skills regularly by participating in training courses to ensure readiness to deal with any emergency, providing an integrated first aid kit to be used until medical assistance arrives, and reviewing its contents regularly..
