Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University holds a scientific symposium on introducing the rights of people with disabilities

In an attempt to integrate them socially, qualify them, deal with them positively, and develop their educational capabilities, the Department of Community Health Technologies, at the College of Health and Medical Technologies/Kufa, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, held a scientific symposium entitled Introducing the rights of people with disabilities and special needs, in which Mr. Muhammad lectured. Hussein Obaid, public health specialist in the Najaf Health Department.

The seminar aimed to introduce the most important rights that this segment should receive, and the most important rules that must be followed when dealing with them, and respect them as part of human diversity and human nature.
During the seminar, the law no. (۱۱) for the year ٢٠٢٤ of the First Amendment to the law on the rights of people with disabilities and Special Needs No. (۳۸) for the year ٢٠١٣ was clarified, and awareness of its provisions was raised, in order to better understand their rights, which contributes to strengthening their role in society.
The seminar recommended the need to pay attention to this important segment, which is an important part of the social fabric, and review the legislated laws that guaranteed all their rights and take them into account and work in the future.
