Kufa University in the hospitality of Al-Furat University of Technology

Within the framework of the joint cooperation between educational institutions, especially from which the debate, the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, at the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies / Kufa, one of the formations of Al-Furat Central Technical University, received a scientific trip for the third stage students in the morning study, in the Faculty of Sciences / Kufa University – Department of Life Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Haider Abbas Abdul Reza Al-Khafaji, which was received by both teacher Dr. Roa Al-Kanani and teacher Dr. Zahra Bassem, as well as the supporting staff in the department.

This trip aims to enhance the practical side of the student, by directly looking at the educational laboratories at the college with the necessary equipment, knowing the principle and mechanism of each of them, and linking theoretical information to the practical application. During the table, a scientific lecture was held during which the students were greatly interacted with the field explanation provided by the teachers, which contributed to enriching their scientific experience and broadening their understanding of the nature and quality of laboratory tests.

The itinerary also included a viewing of the virtual lab. (virtual Lab) Which is a new and unprecedented step in other formations, to upgrade the level of scientific laboratories from the perspective of sustainability, Assistant Professor Dr. Murtaza Muhammad Jawad has started accompanying the student during their tour.

Professor Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Ramahi, Dean of the College, explained that “This event is part of the College’s plan to build bridges of communication with the faculties of debating disciplines, to prepare capable scientific cadres capable of meeting the challenges of the labor market, through training on the use of laboratory equipment, and methods of collecting samples and data according to scientific standards, including Achieving the desired academic goals”.
