The Faculty of Health and medical technologies organizes a seminar entitled Why university incubators appeared within the activities of the World Entrepreneurship Week.

The Department of eye examination technologies at the Faculty of Health and medical technologies, Kufa, one of the formations of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, organized a scientific seminar entitled Why university incubators appeared .
The seminar began with a question, which is why university incubators appeared, and then they were defined as centers of expertise, knowledge and science, managed by institutions that support entrepreneurs, owners of ideas and ambitious projects،
The seminar also pointed out the importance of incubators in these institutions in that they support people who do not have sufficient resources to achieve their ambitions, and turn their projects into startups, by providing an integrated environment that provides them with services, consulting, training and guidance.
The seminar touched on some examples of the start-up companies that were just an idea and then were edited to enter into operation and application, such as mobile phone companies, whose growth began through a startup company and was initially rejected, as it quickly achieved a wide spread at the level of services, business, health, cultural and economic fields.
The seminar concluded that it is necessary to draw attention to the importance of university incubators as a scientific center and that it is a supportive environment through the presence of experts and consultants available at the University in all specialties, which can reduce the failure rate of projects and ideas
