The university president announces the progress of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in the UI Green Metric classification and its achievement of fourth place locally.

The president of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif al-Zubaidi, announced the University’s progress in the UI GreenMetric ranking for the year 2024.
The official website of the rating showed (https://greenmetric.ui.ac.id/rankings/overall-rankings-2024 ) Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University ranked fourth (4)out of eighty-one (81) Iraqi public and private universities and ranked (178) globally out of (1477) Advanced International Universities (147) ranked for the previous year, the results of which were announced by the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

The ranking is based on the quality of education and scientific research, the extent of advancement of infrastructure projects at the University, the application of clean energy standards, the preservation of the university environment and water treatment
Al-Zubaidi appreciated the efforts of the scientific and administrative leaders, the Department of quality assurance and university performance, and the supportive circles of professors and associates, congratulating everyone for achieving this achievement .
