Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organizes a scientific symposium entitled Modern methods of vision examination.

The Department of Vision Examination Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies/Kufa, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a scientific symposium entitled Modern Methods of Vision Examination to keep pace with the latest modern developments in this field.

The seminar aims to identify the most important modern methods in the field of vision examination and the latest findings of Science in this field thanks to technological development.
The seminar touched upon the enumeration of modern methods of visual examination, and these methods use advanced devices to provide accurate and effective diagnosis of visual problems, examples of which are automated visual examination(Auto – refractor and Auto-keratometer), corneal topography, speed measurement (Pachymetry) and retinal Imaging (Retinal Imaging), tonometry, endoscopic examination retina (fundus photography), and digital examination techniques for glasses (digital phoropter)
The seminar also highlighted the importance of these modern techniques and methods in visual examination, which provide higher accuracy in diagnosis and early detection of visual diseases, comfort and speed for patients. And improve the quality of life through customized visual solutions based on accurate data.
Making measurements using the touch screen and joystick is very easy. Diagnostic information is displayed with excellent accuracy on the adjustable color touch screen. Patients are positioned quickly and comfortably with an automated chin rest. The built-in quick-release brake prevents unintentional movements of the tool base.
