Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organizes a visit to the nursing home

To enhance the values ​​of compassion and giving, and to provide psychological and social care to them, the Department of Vision Screening Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies/Kufa, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Ramahi, Dean of the College, organized a visit to the Department of Care for People with Special Needs/Dar Elderly care in Najaf Al-Ashraf.

The visit, which included a group of the Department’s staff and students, aimed at instilling the values of social cohesion and solidarity among various members of society, sending humanitarian messages of goodness and giving in the souls of students, and encouraging them to continue serving the community in a spirit of love and sincerity.
During their visit to the house, the delegation received Mr. Ali Sheba, the evening chef, thanking them for this initiative, which reflects the interest of the College in this segment .the elderly residents of the House welcomed this visit, and the delegation conducted medical examinations for them, and medical glasses were provided according to the diagnosed cases. the elderly residents of the house and the administrators expressed their gratitude for this initiative, which added an atmosphere of joy and pleasure, feeling belonging and the importance of building bridges of communication between educational institutions and different segments of society.
