About the Department:-\nThe department was established in 2023, and aims to graduate specialized technical staff, qualified to work in eye hospitals and health centers in the field of vision examination, vision correction and correction of strabismus, as well as work in laboratories installing lenses for medical glasses through the use of medical computer in the diagnosis of vision examination and Correction and work on the description, installation and care of lenses and medical glasses.\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The vision\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p> The graduate of the Department of visual inspection techniques should have a distinguished practical and scientific skill in the scientific and academic community and perform an effective and influential applied role in the technical and health field, thus meeting the needs of society and the requirements of the labor market.

The Message \n<\/span><\/strong><\/p> Qualifying a graduate of the Department of visual inspection techniques to work in eye hospitals and health centers is able to work properly\nDistinguished and with a high level of quality education and competent skills in the fields of vision examination and determining the degree of vision\nCorrection of strabismus and description of the type of lenses.\n\n

The Goals <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe Department of visual inspection technologies pursues the following goals:- <\/span><\/p>\n

    \n\t
  • .1- Preparing and preparing specialized cadres in the field of optics technologies <\/li>\n\t
  • 2- Examination of eyesight, degree of vision, correction of strabismus, suggestion of the type of lenses and manufacture of substitutes <\/li>\n\t
  • 3- Working in the workshops of installing lenses for medical glasses and using the medical computer in the operations of checking and correcting eyesight . <\/li>\n\t
  • 4- Description of medical glasses, contact lenses, various ophthalmic and optical alternatives, repair of glasses, attention to optical medical devices and care for them through continuous updating and continuous development of curricula and study plans in all scientific and practical fields with the provision of teaching staff in universities\nInstitutions and in order to serve the community . <\/li>\n\t\n\t\t\n\n<\/ul>\n\t\n\n


    Tasks and duties assigned to the graduates of the Department <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Sight check and hand limit the degree of vision – <\/li>\n
    • Vision correction and correction of strabismus – <\/li>\n
    • Working in the lens fitting workshop for medical glasses –<\/li>\n
    • The use of the medical computer in the operations of vision examination and evaluation – <\/li>\n
    • Description of prescription glasses, contact lenses and various alternatives – <\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n
