With the aim of mastering both basic and advanced skills in microbiology<\/strong>, the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Technologies<\/strong> at the College of Health and Medical Technologies \/ Kufa<\/strong>, one of the formations of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University<\/strong>, organized a scientific training course<\/strong> entitled \u201cPreparation of Culture Media and Methods of Bacterial Cultivation and Diagnosis.\u201d<\/em> The lectures were delivered by Assistant Lecturer Khamael Mohsen Obeid<\/strong>, with the goal of enhancing participants\u2019 knowledge of modern diagnostic laboratory techniques in accordance with established academic and scientific standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first day<\/strong> of the course included an introduction to microbiology and culture media<\/strong>, covering the scientific principles and classification of culture media<\/strong>, as well as proper preparation and sterilization techniques<\/strong> to ensure a contamination-free environment. Accurate media preparation, as highlighted in the session, represents the cornerstone for successful cultivation and diagnosis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The second day<\/strong> focused on the theoretical aspects<\/strong> of various types of culture media, providing a detailed explanation of each type\u2019s purpose, importance, and sterilization methods<\/strong>, in addition to discussing bacterial cultivation techniques<\/strong> and the use of modern technologies in laboratory diagnostics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The third day<\/strong> was dedicated to practical training<\/strong>, during which participants applied bacterial cultivation and diagnostic procedures<\/strong> using microscopic examination.
