Believing in the importance of the concept of quality assurance in improving performance, and the importance of reviewing and evaluating all aspects of work in order to obtain accreditation, and in response to the directives of Professor Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Ramahi, Dean of the College, that attention to quality and its management is considered an important indicator of the college\u2019s awareness and is also one of the most important factors for its success and continuity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Division at the College of Health and Medical Technologies\/Kufa, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a workshop entitled The Annual Plan for the Quality Assurance Division for the academic year 2024-2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop was opened with a speech by Inas Kazem Al-Khazraji, head of the division, who welcomed the officials of the quality assurance units in the scientific departments at the beginning and introduced them to the axes of the annual plan of the quality assurance and university performance division and the goals to be achieved during the current academic year, the axes of the Iraqi software accreditation standards, explaining the mechanisms of applying standards, how to write a self-report and improvement plan, and matching these standards to obtain software accreditation for health and medical technical specialties .
During the workshop, valuable information was presented to continue spreading the culture of quality in the college and departments with the application of the questionnaire and the preparation of its reports, the method of distributing questionnaires to students and follow-up, in addition to discussing the monthly reports of the quality assurance unit, and explaining the concept of software accreditation and the criteria adopted by the ministry in evaluating performance according to the axes, as each axis includes a set of indicators and elements through which the final grade is calculated for each axis .
The workshop witnessed discussions and interventions on the national standards for program accreditation by the attendees, which contributed to enriching it and achieving the desired goal.
